£5. This is the latest extension of Andrew Hodson’s (map music, warm digits and Arable records) music output. After releasing their critically acclaimed debut album in 2006, they have been away recording their new song-based album which they are going to be performing on this night. So expect mariachi trumpets, rolling drums, silky strings and sweet soulful singing.

Festival: Dead-In-Iraq: Joseph Delappe Performance, Followed By In Conversation With Rod Dickinson

free. Artist Joseph DeLappe visiting from Reno, Nevada, will perform live his internationally acclaimed project dead-in-iraq, a memorial for American soldiers in Iraq. The performance will be followed by a conversation between Joseph and UK-based artist Rod Dickinson, about the nature of simulated spaces and the role of art in remembering and/or critiquing the past. Festival: Flashback (Dir. Martin Zet)

Free Entry. Screening of the film and some other work followed by a discussion with Czech film-maker Martin Zet. Martin has produced the Moldovite Season of films in Waygood’s Little Jewel Cinema, Zet Garden II, in which he focuses on each member of his family, his wife, himself and their four children. A workshop with other artists and, on 28 October, a live performance are also planned by Little Jewel Cinema. Waygood Gallery art@waygood.org
