Man's search for new life is playfully underlined by the bizarre events and stylish soundtrack. Ariel is part the 'working class' trilogy.

¡VAMOS! Festival & ¡Cantina Latina! present: Favela on Blast This documentary, produced by Diplo, looks at ‘Baile Funk’, an energetic, underground music from the favelas of Rio de Janeiro. It mixes bombastic rhythms with powerful rap vocals in Brazilian slang which talk about life in Rio’s favelas; sex, love, poverty, violence, pride and aspirations, giving this once marginalized community a voice.
