Film: Riverside (1991) + Documentary Crowd Funding Launch!

Special screening of 'lost' live music film footage from Newcastle's legendary alternative music venue, Riverside, which, had it still been around, would have been celebrating its 27th birthday this week. We will be launching our documentary crowd funding campaign at this event. 

Doors 7.30 pm. Crowd funding launch in cinema 8 pm prompt. Film screening follows. Bar until 11 pm.

Event: Canny Little Library

The Canny Little Library stocks books, zines and pamphlets with a focus on titles with a more critical stance towards the society we live in and not available in most regular libraries/ bookshops. All titles are available to browse and borrow for free. The Star and Shadow also houses a large collection of film, photography and theatre books available for browsing and reference.
