In Laos a boy proclaimed as unlucky is driven out of his village. Embarking on a journey to find a new home he teams up with a misfit mentor who leads him on a calamity-filled journey across a land still littered with the debris of war. Seeking to win acceptance he enters a contest to build a giant rocket for the lucrative rocket festival. We will offer post film rocketry!
