Make and Mend market is montly independent market, now starting its 3rd succesfull year. At Star and Shadow venue, we offer best of regional arts, craft, vintage and second-hand findings. Everything from houseware to clothing , books and music. Bar will be open on market hours serving hot&cold drinks and some of our stall holders make the most mouth watering cup-cakes in North-East!

As a new adddition, there will also be SWAP held in the cinema space as part of our  markets. This will always run as follows: Items drop in time 2-3pm (Bring your preloved items 1-15max, for a fee of £2 and get a token with similar number). Come back by 3pm and SWAP starts! you can take same number of items you brought it (token). After swap there is a change to buy remaining items in very low price.Rest will be donated to local charities.

Specific market dates may have different themes for swaps! Please check from S&S website current info.

Usually themes are ; books, music, films or women's clothing & accessories. Note: Items must be clean and in good condition and also come from smoke and pet free homes.
