The Canny Little Library is the canniest little collection of books, magazines and pamphlets around in Newcastle (that we know of!). The collection focusses on non-fiction publications which develop a critical stance towards the world and society that we live in.  Sections include; politics, global struggles, anarchism, queer, anti-racism, feminism, cookery, art, children and young people + more! Books are available to browse and borrow every Sunday from 3pm- 7pm, all for free. Access is also available to the incredible Star and Shadow film and theatre reference library, containing gems of entertainment criticism, information and scripts.
