Formed by Fyfe Dangerfield of indie-pop band Guillemots, Gannets have taken the imrov world by storm, steaming seamlessly from 1930s swing to cacophonous jazz-rock, and throwing in anything else that takes their fancy on the night. Cundy, Ward, Lash & Noble are well established free improvisers, at ease with influences from all genres, while Dangerfield is free to unleash his love for experimental rock. This is a quintet that’s not so much re-writing the rules as throwing them out of the window!
