Film: Mad Dog Morgan (1976)

Dennis Hopper, Jack Thompson, David Gulpilil. Hopper is superb in character as the honest man turned into a notorious/heroic [depending on your social status] bushranger to survive in 1850s Australia, Unfortunately his career terminates with him supplying the material to make an "interesting tobacco pouch".
