The English Language Conversation Group is a weekly event at the Star and Shadow for all people who want to meet and practice speaking English. It is an informal group and new people - volunteers to help people practice speaking English or learners to see what the group is like - are always welcome. The group is inclusive and travel expenses can be paid for if necessary.

Event: Cut And Splice Film Workshop

Film Bee introduce a technique for making 16mm film without film. We'll be using lighting gels and splicing them onto film sprockets for super saturated colour collage. When put through the steely jaws of the cinema projectors in an improvised multiple projector jam, these filmstrips will reach new levels of intensity - like exploding jewelery boxes.
