Event: The English Language Conversation Group

The English Language Conversation Group is a weekly event at the Star and Shadow for all people who want to meet and practice speaking English. It is an informal group and new people - volunteers to help people practice speaking English or learners to see what the group is like - are always welcome. The group is inclusive and travel expenses can be paid for if necessary.

Categories including; queer, diy, politics, history, auto/ biography, feminism, cookery, poetry and more, yes really more! The library is open for all for browsing and borrowing for free. Also available: access to the Star and Shadow permanent collection of film and theatre books.
