Declan Clarke (2013): A new film reflecting on the decline of industrial Europe and modernist utopian ideals, in which an agent traverses the continent trying to unpick an elusive, enigmatic mystery. Filmed in four locations across western Europe, including Newcastle Upon Tyne.

Film: Oberhausen On Tour: Resistance Programme

This film programme includes some of the most important political works shown in the Oberhausen Film Festival (one the oldest short film festivals in the world) and have won awards there. In these films, dating from 1961 to 2010, filmmakers intervene, take a stand and protest on behalf of human rights, freedom and life.

Film: Help Yourself Manchster: A Documentary About The Diy Music Scene + Live Gig

Helpyourself Manchester is a documentary using archive footage, interviews, animation and Psychogeographical recordings to explore the DIY music scene in Manchester during the early to mid 00’s. There will be live music for your delectation in the bar before and after the screening.

The Canny Little Library will be holding an information day, in which the changes are explained, both present and future. Giving people an idea of how they and their friends are being affected."
