Westfront:1918 Vier von der infanterie:(1930) Viewed by many critics as superior to the US made All Quiet on the Western Front of the same year and marking the skilled transition to the new technology of sound by Austrian master film maker GW Pabst. Focussing on the desperate lives of German troops in the trenches it also casts light on the degradations faced by their families the last months of the war. Kameradschaft: 1931 drama directed by Austrian director G. W. Pabst. A plea against war and for friendship between peoples, told through the story of French miners rescued by German colleagues after a firedamp explosion.

A fictionalised story about 12 year old Brendan, the boy behind the creation of the Book of Kells. The Book of Kells is an illuminated manuscript and is an Irish National treasure. Vikings and St Aidan of Iona also feature. It has been nominated for an Oscar. Family tickets are available.
