Event: Need Your Help Tearing Down The House

This Thursday 6-8pm, 22nd October, 6 people are needed to help Dan while he up on the ceiling taking apart ducting or something. It is hard work. It is ladder holding mostly, maybe one other to climb with him but 6 are needed to support the job, There is also pallet loading. Easy- there is a manual pallet lifter. More volunteers in general are needed on Thursday nights and Saturday afternoons to help deconstruct and pack. Dan and Steven Turner cannot do this work on their own. Another dozen are needed.

Saturday 1-5pm, 24th October exact job to be decided bit please could you turn up. There will be lots to be done. Destruction Party Saturday 7th November at Star & Shadow, Stepney Bank with Magic Hat Cafe providing food (The food waste reduction people). Drink also provided. Soups and tagines were mentioned. All this after you participate in the de-constructing and packing work planned for that day between 1pm and 5pm. More volunteers in general are needed on Thursday nights and Saturday afternoons to help deconstruct and pack. Dan and Steven Turner cannot do this work on their own. Another dozen are needed.

On Saturday 31st October Star and Shadow Cinema are at St. Michael’s Church Byker celebrating the ancient Celtic holiday of Samhain (pronounced sow-inn), or the modern Halloween. Marking the beginning of winter, the end of harvest and reflecting on natures rhythms.
